Career Forecast using QMDJ (奇门遁甲) Case #3

As introduced in previous post of What Qi Men Dun Jia is? One of its modern applications is career forecasting and decision making. We can use this technique to help making an important decision in our career. Previous career forecasting examples (case#1; case#2)
Below is another one of the cases that my student asked: Can he get the promotion by end of this year?

In career forecasting, we will look into the Day stem Ji 己 in the E palace as the asker, the Hour stem Ding 丁in the NE as the general outlook of the career. The Year stem Ji 己 as his immediate manager, the Month stem Xin 辛 in the NE palace as his colleagues, DOpen (開) in the SE palace as his current situation of his career.
The asker though possesses good socializing skill, he has not been able to get the real network and collaboration particularly from his colleagues and senior management. He has been facing challenges in this current position for more than 3 years. He is aware of the situation and has been skeptical and confused whether he should continue to pursue his career in this company.
The general outlook of the career (Hour stem Ding 丁) in the NE consists of DDeath 死, SGrain 芮 and UTiger 虎. All these three components represent the inauspicious situation for the asker. The asker has tried hard to control this situation but the obstacles have not been able to overcome yet. To further zoom into his current career situation DOpen in the SE palace. We can see the combination of stem Geng 庚 and stem Ren 壬 that gives rise to negative outcome of his current career situation. His true capability (SHeart 心) has not been recognized (Moon 陰) by the senior management.
The asker in the E palace counters his colleagues in the NE palace, which represents his colleagues might not really give him the real support that he needs. In addition, his colleagues who are generally in DDeath 死 situation, and do not really offer any support to him.
Another major blow to his career promotion comes from the total Fan Yin or opposite behaviour of this QMDJ Hour chart. It means what he wanted will not materialize in the end of this year.
Based on the above analysis, we can conclude that the asker will not get his promotion by end of the year.
On the other hand, the QMDJ Hour chart does provide suggestions of what he can do moving forward. This is the power of the QMDJ forecasting techniques.
